Love of paper and post was NOT in the air
Handling a large number of clients always brings with it some complexity, and the team at Menzies were used to handling large volumes of paperwork that needed posting out to clients. There was nothing surprising about the internal processes of printing, signing, copying and then sending to business support staff to put letters and attachments in the post, but there was a lot of it! Business support colleagues would put the letters and attachments in the envelope, frank the envelope and take the franked mail to the post office for sending.
When a first date works out
The team first heard about Postworks when Menzies partner, Bethan, attended an accounting seminar where Postworks had been invited to present their platform following recommendations from other accountancy firms.

A match made in heaven

They had 11,000 documents that required being matched with another document. The first was a cover letter and the second was a PDF statement. They’d worked out it would take the team four full days to complete it themselves.
Postworks clever system looked for the recipient’s account number on the letter and matched it to the statement that contained the same account number. All items were matched, posted and a proof of postage provided in just 24 hours.
