Digital postal company’s newest tech provides unprecedented visibility to customers
Ahead of World Post Day on 9th October, postal disruptor, Postworks, have launched a new product, ClearSend®.
ClearSend® gives certified proof of postage into the Royal Mail network, at no extra cost. Postworks are the only postal provider to offer this.
Watch (2mins): Introducing ClearSend™
As well as transparency into Postworks’ fulfilment process, customers now also enjoy peace of mind knowing that Royal Mail’s confirmation of where the item was received, including date and time stamp, is recorded and they can view in their dedicated online Postworks dashboard.
This means that every single letter gets a certified proof of postage, as it has been scanned in by Royal Mail, and confirmed to have been passed over to the delivery company.
The data given to mail companies by Royal Mail has, until now, not been visible to the end user but Postworks have developed technology to provide transparency to the end user. This provides game changing functionality to those in regulated industries or where proof of postage is paramount.
And no matter a company’s size, they can see this data through Postworks. Prior to this, only large companies sending post directly through Royal Mail’s business account had access to this data.
To celebrate the launch of ClearSend®, Postworks held a food and wine tasting event at Foresight’s offices in The Shard, London.
“ClearSend® is another chapter in Postworks’ plan to reboot a 500 year old industry, by providing unprecedented visibility.” – James Booker, CEO of Postworks
About Postworks
Founders James and Marvee-Lisa asked why couldn’t post be made better. Postworks was founded in 2017, after being told by the industry they wouldn’t succeed.
To save on start-up costs James and Marvee-Lisa moved into their offices and slept in what later became the boardroom, and joined a local gym for showering facilities.
Postworks now serves over 4,000 organisations in the UK, is the UK’s first carbon neutral postal supplier, and provides a completely digital mail service for sending and receiving post.
